I had some cupcakes orders to deliver so I made a few extras for a friend’s mom who brought back some baking stuff for me all the way from San Francisco as well as a friend who will be picking me up for an outing the next day.

As I’ve just started to do fondant roses so I tried to frost some as practice and was glad they all turned out well. Though I have some problems dealing with the new leaf tip which I’ve bought some time back but have never used it. They turned out quite well after a few rounds of practices.

The one in red cups are Banana Walnut with Banana Buttercream frosting while the one in white cups are Oreo Cookies with Peppermint Buttercream frosting.

Last year I baked my 1st batch of birthday cupcakes for my son Darrius’s 2nd birthday. As we had a mini party in McDonald’s with some mommies and their kiddos, I baked another batch just for the adults which has a simpler design.
