A group of office mates shared and bought these cupcakes to celebrate one of their colleague’s birthday. There wasn’t any specific theme requested so I came up with this cute garden theme with the bees and ladybirds.

Just a little update…

I will not be able to take in any orders from Penang folks for the entire month of June as I will be down in KL.

As I might go on a short road trip, I may not be able to take much orders from KL folks too…

However, if you want to place order for the month of July and August, do make your booking now!

Elmo for Mommy?

There is this little suave and charming boy who is so in love with Elmo that even on his mommy’s birthday, she has to get him some Elmo cupcakes as her own birthday cupcakes! Mommy’s love is so unconditional right?!

His mommy ordered some Elmo cupcakes for him in January during his 2nd birthday and according to his mommy, he has been asking for same Elmo cake since. So, this time I came out with an even better design… miniature Elmos!

Besides Elmo I did some Thomas the Tank as well as some pink random cupcakes which the mommy want to give to her niece as she likes anything that has pink on it.

A Review by a Foodie

A Mother’s Day surprise

A blogging friend wanted to surprise her mom and her tai-chi friends on Mother’s Day morning in Youth Park and she thought some cupcakes will be nice for morning tea after the tai-chi session. She requested to have some not so sweet cupcakes so I gave her the Peachy Peach with lots of peach in the cupcakes as well as on top!

This customer came all the way from Sungai Petani just so she can give her beloved mother-in-law a Mother’s Day surprise. I was told that Sungai Petani is about an hour drive from Penang.

She told me that her mother-in-law are into gardening and loves soft colors. Therefore, I came out with a mix of garden and floral themes for her.

When she reached home, she can’t wait to present these cupcakes to her mother-in-law (she came to pick the cupcakes up 2 days before Mother’s Day)  and she even called me up to tell me that they don’t feel like eating these cupcakes as they just want to admire them!

A blogging mommy friend came to Penang with her family for a mini vacation by the beach on Monday and ordered 2 dozens of cupcakes from me so she can picked them up before her little getaway.

She ordered a dozen of Yummi Butter (vanilla) and a dozen of Krazy Banana. As I was rushing to get the cupcakes ready and packed I forgot to take photo for the other dozen! So, I only have these…

It is Sponge Bob Theme Cupcakes

It was a last minute order I received from a guy who wanted some characters cupcakes for a friend’s 21st Birthday.  He said his friend, a lady loves Sponge Bob and the color purple had wanted me to do a myriad of characters but I felt that it will be too crowded so I stuck to the original request… just Sponge Bob and Patrick Star. I wanted to do more characters but due to the the tight schedule I only managed these…

Special day for ‘Pa & Ma’

.

This pretty young mama who is residing in KL ordered a dozen of cupcakes for her parents who are in Penang. Her parents’ birthday fell on two consecutive days, which was on the 9th and 10th of May. She requested to have some Krazy banana cupcakes and hope I could do special designs on half dozen for her dad and half for her mom.

Coincidentally Mother’s Day fell on the 11th May so, it is also as a Mother’s Day gift. We delivered the cupcakes on Saturday afternoon and her parents were ecstatic when they saw the cupcakes. She told me later that night that her mom actually gobbled down 4 cupcakes in one go!
