Baby Shower Cupcakes

This is my second time doing baby theme cupcakes. And funnily, both occasion are for a baby girl. This time, I do not have the baby’s name yet but instead the mommy’s name as the cupcakes are meant for a baby shower event over at E&O… one of the top hotel in Penang.

Cupcakes for Mommy Dearest

This lovely young lady was a repeat customer. First she ordered for her buddy and now she ordered for her mommy dearest.

For mommy, it is all about lovely flowers and beauty stuff and of course not forgetting the all time favorite for all ladies… handbag! I tried to make something like a Channel bag but guess it did not quite turned out… But it still look like a handbag no less!

Hope Annie has a great birthday with these cuppies from her loving daughter!

Pooh Birthday

It is a Pooh birthday for a young lady turning 24 last week! A good friend ordered a dozen of Pooh theme cupcakes for the birthday party which was at a Western restaurant over in Gurney Hotel.

Piggies for her love

A few weeks back I got an order from Hong Kong and then I got an order which my humble little cakes will be traveling on the air plane and make their way to Hong Kong!

A new love, a new life they often said…

This lovely customer of mine who lives on the mainland ordered a dozen of these piggies cupcakes to surprise her boyfriend on his birthday who is based in Hong Kong. However, on the day she collect the cakes was not the day she fly or his birthday so it was quite a challenge since the entire week, the humidity was extremely high!

Practically I was having melting piggies as I move along the molding processes!!! I have to make a lot of considerations just so the decors will stay intact throughout the flight as well as till the actual day.

For A Girlfriend’s Birthday

A young gentleman wanted to surprise his girlfriend with some cupcakes but he was not sure what to have on the cupcakes. I’m not so sure if he wanted to propose to his girlfriend on her birthday so I suggested to him to get her some bear cupcakes. Then he told me he wanted bears and hearts and here are what I did for him….

Cute Cupcakes for Grandma’s Birthday

A wonderful lady who is based in Hong Kong ordered a dozen of cupcakes for her beloved mother in law’s birthday a few weeks back. Instead of having the cupcakes with just a birthday greeting, she requested me to make an individual/personalized cupcakes that represent each of her mother in law’s grandchildren wishing their grandma a happy birthday.

This is one of my most unusual theme I’ve done so far and all of us were very happy with the outcome. :)  Don’t they look so adorable?

Golden Boots for A Manchester Fan

.

A loving sister wanted to surprise her little brother’s 17th birthday by ordering these soccer cupcakes for him. As her brother loves soccer, she also asked me to include a pair of Golden Boots on the cupcakes.  The ‘golden boots’ don’t look too golden as I have a little difficulties applying the gold dust on them…
