After suffering almost 5 months of painful morning sickness and 4 months of backache and sleep deprivation… finally we received our little bundle of joy on 2nd of December 2009.

We are pleased to announce the arrival of our Lil’ Princess… Baby Glennedine…

Hiatus extended

Dear Valued Customers,

It is with much sadness that we have to stop taking orders for the time being as I am not feeling too well. Though the cuppies could be baked by anyone but most of the decorations are done solely by me.

Recently we have just discovered that I am expecting our #2 child and the morning sickness (which every pregnant women loathe) is driving me nutz. One moment I am feeling ok and next I felt so dreadful with my mind spinning.

Therefore I was advised to take a short break till everything return to normal before we start taking in orders again.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.

A New Header

After months of procrastination and weeks of searching, I Love Cupcakes! finally has a new header which pretty much epitomize the team behind the scene.

There will be more works done in the coming weeks so the site will be easier to navigate. That’s all for now. Thank you for your support!

Life goes on…

After fiddling with the comment box problem for almost a week, I still can’t find a solution so I am not going to waste more time fiddling with it.

I guess the only thing is to not use the current theme if I do not want to have all the bugs wreaking havoc with my site. It has come to a point that I need to engage a profession to design a theme for this site since there are no other free themes available for this purpose… a cupcake shop theme that is!

Hopefully I Love Cupcakes will have a new look soon!

1st Anniversary & Comment Box Errors

I Love Cupcakes is officially ONE today! However, it was not a very happy occasion like we had wanted it to be due to some problems that cropped up.

For the past two days it has been a little hell for us here… the blog has a problem!

There were some spam building up in the comment box so we activated the Askimet plugin. Then we wanted to have some recommendation posts to our readers and potential customers, we installed a plugins and since then the errors surfaced.

We have been trying in vain to overcome these problems but nothing seems to work. The comment box don’t seems to work on certain posts but the spam continue to build up!

Hopefully we could iron out all these mess at soonest possible.

Break Extended

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we have to be away longer than earlier planned.

We will only be accepting orders after 15th February 2009. Therefore we can’t take in any Valentine’s Day orders.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.

A Short Break from 1st to 9th February

First of all I would like to wish all customers and readers of I Love Cupcakes! A Happy & Prosperous Lunar Moo Year!

As most of us know, the year 2009 did not have a good start and we are seeing a lot of people on this little island are either asked to take long leave or some very unfortunate ones are left without a job.

Though some of us are spared in this moment of uncertainties, I would like to offer my prayers that the economy will bounce back as soon as possible.

As such we are taking this opportunity of the long leave to settle some personal matters which required us to take a trip down south. Therefore, I Love Cupcakes! will be closed from 1st February to 9th February 2009.

Slots for St. Valentine’s Day is still available for booking so do send in your requests soon!

We are back!

We are finally back in Penang after a 3 weeks ‘vacation’ in KL.

Orders for Penang is open for booking now. Some of the dates for July and August are already taken up so if you want to make sure your orders do not clashed with others, do send me your requests now!
